About this deal
As for the rest of the film, viewers are forced to waddle and stumble through a clumsy display of what is essentially an explanation for why Dr. Jurassic Park Jurassic Park takes you to a remote island where an amazing theme park with living dinosaurs is about to turn deadly, as five people must battle to survive among the prehistoric predators. The DTS:X surround track is incredible, taking what was impressive about the previous releases and adding that extra layer to make something truly special. Even with transfers that aren't quite as nice as hoped for by many people, I cannot help but recommend this set for its video performance.
Bass is simply immense; when the Tyrannosaur approaches it is subterranean, but throughout there are many LF effects that add impact to the track. Rear activity is also at a constant with a soundfield full of exotic wildlife, the roars of the T-Rex and John Williams's memorable score. vouch for the park's safety and stability, and convince antsy investors that the park is a viable attraction. The deeply percussive elements, which are the best and most elaborate in the trilogy, thunder away with primal intensity.Movement, even when intended to be much stealthier, emanates with accuracy and with natural-sounding panning from all the channels. Archival Featurettes (SD, 66 min) — A few of the supplements from other releases are collected here, which starts with an aged EPK piece on the making of the film and filled with many of the same snippets found on the above segments. Featuring Academy Award-winning visual effects and ground-breaking filmmaking that has been hailed as "a triumph of special effects artistry" (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times), this epic film is sheer movie-making magic that was 65 million years in the making.
