I’m so glad we see Declan apologizing, he’s even seeing a therapist because of the anger issues he had with Iris in the previous book. Rowan’s book "The Fine Print" was my favorite, followed by Declan's book "Terms and Conditions" and then this one with Cal, "Final Deal". Definitely recommend for anyone to try this series and give it a go for a first romance series if its something you wanting to try as a genre. One thing that irked me about him was he gossiped about everything and that too to Iris, who FYI was never there for him and continued to ignore him.

Cal asked what the other choice was and his dad said he would have to get the forgiveness of his sons and place his shares up for vote like today. one of my friends who’s already read the book too said it needed to be roughly 75 pages shorter and it would have been perfect, and i wholeheartedly agreed with her. lauren asher saved the best for last not only in Kane brother, but also in plot, character development, and writing.

I spent so much time feeling sorry for him that I wasn’t able to see him as an attractive love interest. Lana is such a layered and deep character that was relatable and determined by the end of the story. Lana sees Merlin, Cal’s cat, and screams, Cal runs over with a lamp ready to protect her and Cami runs in with her ninja skills. There’s no confirmation yet but we can expect right because the dirty air series is getting a 2nd generation series in 2024.

She’s an incredible woman, who’s so selfless, caring and loving, and that has been through a lot throughout her life. It’s not all heartache and angst though, there are some fiercely (bitter)sweet moments that showcase all of the reasons why this couple is perfect together. The behavior was so insensitive from her, and his Brothers were just another level of insensitiveness as well.
