About this deal

An opening cargo container is also available for accessories and can be removed fairly easily, providing space for another minifigure when necessary. The additional seat is not displayed in any official images but was presumably intended, otherwise this container would be integrated more closely. This option is definitely appreciated, despite the tight squeeze! Hunter also has his unique gunmetal grey helmet, which looks good. I always like it when LEGO includes both hairpieces and helmets for relevant minifigures. It’s frankly an odd choice at this price point to begin with, as the Justifier isn’t really an iconic ship so the high price tag is even more of a hard sell. And … that’s all the minifigs. If you’re caught up on The Clone Wars enough to be watching The Bad Batch as it airs, a key character is clearly missing from the minifig assortment: Omega. Five minifigs make sense for the price point, and of course, we would want all members of the original Clone Force 99, but the set feels incomplete without this new character. Conclusions & recommendation One weak point in the wing is this section, as the rear part of the wing is only attached with one stud on this hinge, and so grabbing the rear wing can feel a bit weak.

In previous years, some LEGO fans would have considered this to be an ‘illegal’ technique, but it looks great and it’s nice that LEGO is using it in sets nowadays. The other speeder bike is a civilian design, named the Rawlings TK5. Hunter commandeered one such vehicle on Pantora. I love the lime green livery, accented with white stripes adorning the bodywork and adjustable thrust pods. These correspond precisely with the source material and the length of 14cm seems reasonably authentic too. Moreover, the outriggers look suitably slender but feel rigid. The translucent red wall piece can be removed (it’s only attached to a couple of studs) to allow you to place and remove figures in the prison.Minifigures [4] – Cad Bane and Omega are excellent figures, but could have had a couple more figures given the reused Hunter and Fennec Shand minifigs. Includes speeder with 2 stud shooters and another speeder with clip for blaster to add to play possibilities

Senior Graphic Designer Madison O'Neil on creating those amazing new minifigures -- including a revealing look at Crosshair.

Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, and Crosshair hit the bricks after Order 66.

It’s a rather sizeable build, measuring around 40cm wide and 40cm long, plus roughly 20cm tall in flight mode. Innovation [3] – Some fun play features and the engine pod looks unique thanks to a cool build technique, but overall nothing super innovative. It’s a 1000 piece set with 5 minifigures and not much interior space, and does not offer much more in terms of play value or piece count than cheaper sets like 75337 AT-TE Walker and even 75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe.

The ingenious Bad Batch was introduced during Star Wars: The Clone Wars and possesses varied abilities, surpassing normal Clone Troopers. This impressive squad now appears during their own animated series, following the foundation of the burgeoning Galactic Empire. These large flaps on each wing can open up (and are held down only by gravity), but unfortunately you won’t find more interior space underneath. The next minifigure is Fennec Shand, who is also not new; however, this is the first set which includes Fennec with both her hair and helmet. The second minifigure in the set is Hunter, which makes sense as he was the one accompanying Omega when Cad Bane kidnapped her. Her only accessories are a pair of handcuffs, as in this scene she was captured by Cad Bane, which may explain her indignant face!

There are some exposed colourful Technic elements behind, but I don’t mind too much as covering them up would’ve significantly reduced the already limited space in this section. Her hairpiece isn’t 100% accurate but I’m just glad LEGO included one as an option, so you can switch between helmeted and helmetless looks. The fourth minifigure in the set is Cad Bane himself, who makes an awesome return to LEGO form with new pieces and prints. The build itself was fairly straight forward, and I was surprised at the quality of colour delineation in the instruction manual – instructions were quite clear, and I did not find myself confusing sand blue and medium stone grey at any point.

Obviously, the stars of this LEGO Star Wars set are the minifigures. Nevertheless, it’s fair to expect the main vehicle to reflect key exterior and interior details of the “real” vehicle, which this scaled-down version does not. The huge speeder bikes feel like they detract from the potential of the shuttle, rather than adding to the overall set. The Justifier becomes even longer (though loses some of its height) when placed into landing mode – rotating the entire engine pod subassembly into a horizontal pose. The nose of the shuttle in the source material consists of a number of converging slopes, with sloped Briggs and hinged creating a variety of shapes on the front of the craft. SNOTwork. (Studs not on top) to the sides she’s the sides slope inwards as well, resulting in a relatively smooth nose. The forward cabin sits two minifigures, one in front of the other. From here, we work on the rear cabin, which attaches to the front via several technic pins. Many fans will probably buy this set for Cad Bane, but I still think the minifigure selection could have been improved. While Hunter and Fennec are both very relevant to the scene, the fact that they’re both reused figures is kind of disappointing for a set at this price point. I give the set 4/5 Arbitrary praise units. If you are a fan of the Bad Batch – whether from the final season of The Clone Wars, or their own program, you will probably get joy from this set.The first minifigure in the set is the highly anticipated Omega figure, who was notably missing from the 2021 Bad Batch Shuttle set. Each member of the Bad Batch possesses unique talents and their specialised armours are designed to accentuate such abilities. Hunter appears the closest to normal Clone Troopers, sporting pearl dark grey commando armour with dark red accents. The colour combination is appealing and metallic silver panels are also included to provide welcome contrast.
