Transcend indicates the date and time settings are maintained for about 4 days without external power. The screen has a fairly low resolution, but it’s designed to be viewed from below so although viewing angles aren’t great, it should look ok when mounted near your rear-view mirror. It comes with a G-sensor so your video files will be saved if a sudden breaking maneuver or impact is detected. Also there is a shiny silver ring around the lens which makes the camera more noticeable when installed. A few issues the device presents include the sensitivity of the G-sensor, with a small bump or pothole in the road activating Emergency Recording.
The small size fits it discreetly behind the rear view mirror, the cable is long enough to reach while being looped around the windscreen.

The Transcend DrivePro 200 is not one of the smallest dashboard cameras, but it isn’t terribly large, either. Many owners have indicated that the date and time resets if the camera is not used for a few days and you will need to enter the setup procedure again. Some users have noted the G-sensor to be far too sensitive, triggering Emergency Recording even with small bumps to the car while driving such as going over speed ramps.
It lacks GPS but has Wi-Fi so you can view the live feed on your phone, browse and watch recordings and download clips directly to your phone.
