Opening it and seeing all the recipes, I was amazed at all the different cultures that had been laced into the book. The recipe was fairly straightforward: you combine the dry ingredients then add the eggs and remaining items. The least familiar recipe in Together contained a bunch of ingredients I have never, ever, seen served all together: Tuna, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, cheddar cheese, flour, and eggs. That camaraderie of cooking and kindness became the Hubb Community Kitchen (“hubb” means ‘love’ in Arabic). Together: Our Community Cookbook is written by the women of the Hubb Community Kitchen, with a very thoughtful and heartfelt foreword by Meghan Markle.
