Pressing the A button opens the main menu, with the options to provide care or to play the games. The "Care" options allow the user to either feed a meal or pet the creature. The meal option (depicted as a bowl of food) fills one Hungry unit, and will refuse to eat anymore once the meter is full. The petting option (depicted as a heart) fills one Happy unit, and the creature can be pet even when the Happy meter is full. The A button is also used to open the lights on and off menu when the creature has fallen asleep.Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. There are four games, each influencing what creatures the user can obtain. Games increase the Happy level; winning the game fills Happy by one unit, while a perfect game fills Happy by two. The Harry Potter Tamagotchi Nano invites fans on a spellbinding journey where nurturing the creatures and beasts is up to them. Feed, pet, and play four different mini-games to care for your magical creatures or they might just run away. Your play pattern will determine which of the 11 kinds of magical creatures you'll interact with. Catch Gold: The user controls a platform at the bottom of the screen, moving it left with the A button or right with the B button. The user must catch gold coins bars falling from the top of the screen, and must move their catcher directly under the object before it reaches the bottom of the screen. The user must catch 10 for a perfect game. Choose between two different play modes: Harry Potter mode (Spend 3 hours at the Hogwarts Castle) and Fantastic Beasts mode (Spend 3 hours in a magical suitcase) If the creature needs something, the user can press the C button for an animation to see what it needs. A dizzy spiral signifies an empty Hungry meter, while a sulking mark signify an empty Happy meter. If both the Hungry and Happy meters are not empty, but the Happy meter is not full, the creature will perform a happy animation.
