About this deal

The VE-8 has significantly improved my enjoyment of singing while playing the guitar, and that is what it is all about. If you’re serious about looping, I’d recommend getting a more powerful pedal that focuses on looping.

Articulate and rich BOSS sound processing helps to bring the best out of your vocals and guitar sound, providing you with with simple yet intuitive controls that let you affect everything from Acoustic Resonance on the guitar to enhancing vocals or adding Reverb. and I have a Fishman Loudbox Artist (which have DI XLR for both channels) heck I can’t even figure out if those would work? I've checked out a few videos on this subject ( all for apple mac) and it appears that I've got everything connected correctly. This may not be an issue once you get used to the pedal and know what the abbreviations that are important to you mean, but, until then, you better get used to having the user’s manual nearby. This was also the only pedal that would occasionally have me verbalizing my excitement over some of the sounds I could get out of it… The only features I wish it had from the other pedals are the VE-8’s “acoustic resonance” and guitar delay, and the longer looping time offered by the other pedals. While, overall, everything here is pretty simple, I found this to be the least intuitive of the pedals from the start.

I'm not a big fan of the Fishman Sonitone in my GPRS1, especially compared to its outstanding pure acoustic sound, and the Acoustic Enhance goes a long way towards taming the quack and as I think I said elsewhere, throwing a little faux air or depth to it. I find the resonance to be quite good to give you an instant tone boost, in terms of sparkle for example.and to me, that foot pedal, say an FS-6 or whatever, makes the VE-8 setup so less compact and tidy which is one if its main virtues, for all it does). In addition, we have a library of Owner’s Manuals and Support Documents that you can download and reference. The Boss VE-8 Acoustic Singer Pre-Amp could be your new best friend for studio-quality sound on any stage.

If the fault occurs within the first 2 years of your ownership, we'll collect the goods and deliver them back to you free of charge. After watching the Andertons video with Acoustic Classics, I noticed they do a test video of the Boss VE-8 Acoustic Singer gadget. The statements, reviews and opinions expressed in the Eastman Guitar Fan forum are solely those of the individual users. The VE-8’s rear panel has a guitar input and XLR mic input with switchable phantom power, plus an Aux input to connect a smartphone or other device for backing music.

Have checked this boss ve8 thing since my thread about looper for acoustics, and seen several videos of demos. If you want to hear the Boss in action, I recorded my solo acoustic version of "When The War Is Over" by Australian band Cold Chisel. Still, with the pitch correction, reverb, voice double and harmonies, my singing actually sound reasonably good (to me).
