About this deal

A gravity fed water system is identified by a cold-water storage tank, usually stored in a loft, and a hot water cylinder. These systems rely on gravity to force water around the system, with the height of the cold-water storage tank determining the pressure throughout the system. The CT60 Bathroom Universal pump from Salamander Pumps has been specifically designed to deliver the pressure and performance needed to boost water supplies to bathrooms, en-suites and utility rooms.

Pump mat made with high density sponge which will absorb sound from your pump for a quiet operation. For large pumps, can be cut in half for use at each end. The addition of a Salamander shower pump anti-vibration mounting pad provides reduction of the transfer of motor noise and vibration.option for negative head installations, reduced noise emanations from the efficiently designed waterway and impeller, providing pressure up to 2.6 bar, and compact dimensions, CT Bathroom is the pump of choice for all bathroom applications. 'Crossover' ensures that both sides of the pump have water going through them irrespective of whether the user is running a hot or cold tap separately.

Bought this as a replacement for my existing pump that had become very noisy ( like a jet engine at full throttle) it was easy to fit and works great .. best deal I could get was from Plumworld and arrived next day Wanted to fit walk in shower had not enough pressure so bought this it has surpassed my expectations Does exactly what it says on the tin, eliminates problems with low head pressure, done the job a treat,Salamander CT 60 1.8 Bar Twin Impeller Universal Bathroom Pump - CT60BU Suitable for Negative and Positive head installations The cold-water storage tank also feeds the hot water cylinder, where a heating coil from the boiler or immersion heater will cause the cold water to become hot. Once an outlet requiring hot water is opened, gravity will force cold water from the cold-water storage tank into the hot water cylinder, this will then force hot water out from the top of the cylinder, delivering hot water to the open outlet.
