Removing Face Paintoos was really easy too, thanks to the included removal wipes. I was dubious and thought this would be a lot harder than the above video made out. However, I managed to remove Syd’s dog face in under 1 minute! All in all the paintoos make face painting so much easier, we found they stayed on really well. The top of the unicorn started to come off at the end of the day. My eight year old scowls so that added to it. The stars on the cheeks however stayed on a lot longer. Face Paintoos transform the magic of ‘face painting’ into a fun and easy activity for children and parents.

The little tattoos were a lot easier to put on the cheeks having done the top of the face. We haven’t tired any of the other face tattoos yet but we plan to do so soon. The box states that the tattoos are suitable from age 4, i think it depends if your four year old will sit still. Some of the tattoos look quite large so it will be interesting to try them on my near four year old. The finalists were selected from 557 nominees submitted by 205 companies. Eighteen judges, including toy and play experts, retailers, academics and journalists, reviewed and ranked the products in categories relevant to their areas of expertise. The judges then participated in a discussion to determine the finalists in each category. They considered each product’s creativity, design, play value, and marketing. We love face painting in this house, my daughter particularly loves her face painted. However my repertoire of what i can actually paint is limited. Ask me to face paint a tiger and it looks amazing, a butterfly however never looks good. Face Paintoos makes face painting so easy that anyone could do it. It has meant that my children don’t always have to have their faces painted as a tiger! Be careful to position the tattoos in the correct position, otherwise the paintoo will look a bit wonky, like my tiger, but with a bit of practice I am sure I will have it down to a fine art. As you can see in the above photo, Syd’s friend Leah opted for the mermaid design. This fitted her face perfectly, and the finished result is flawless. My Thoughts My kids love Halloween, mostly for the chance to dress up as some kind of weird and wonderful creature.
