I'd tossed up between midge hell and breezy in pitching the tent, but didn't contend with the severe billowing the tent displayed. They mention it's spacious enough not to be cramped, has a good sized porch, and has an outer space that is really useful.

In retrospect, it probably didnt save time, as re-attaching and checking each hook took as long as fitting from scratch. The only time-consuming part is putting all the tent pegs in and fitting the guide ropes, of which there are many, but this is useful in high wind. It comes with velcro to fix the material over the zip, adding crucial seconds to a potential theft and making it more likely the thief would enter a more accessible tent. The three door openings mean you can change the entrance round if the wind/rain changes direction and the poles included can be used to make the front door into an awning.The porch is big enough for two people to sit in on chairs and the front can be opened up to make an extra canopy. I did manage to roll the whole tent up with inner attached and replace in the carry bag without a problem. Sturdy, stable and built for easy pitching, this tunnel tent provides excellent space for 3 people with ample living and storage space to cope with all your kit, even on extended stays.

When re-erecting it was a little quicker but I found some of the plastic hooks had come adrift from the loops which they attach too, so had to spend a little time refitting and checking. I awoke to the utter devastation of the cheaper made tents around me, The Coleman Coastline held fast. It withstood 60mph+ winds, torrential downpours and freezing temperatures (yes, that's what Scotland was like May 2015! Once you've got the basics (outer sheet first, fix the corners, slide in the poles, stretch the corners, hang the inner, pull outer with ropes) it's easy to put up. keep the inside bathtub connected to the outer tent sheet and roll the whole thing more or less as you get out of it.It had to be small enough packed up to get on my bike but also not tool small when erected to be cramped. I camped next to a very similar shaped tent made by another manufacturer but there was no comparison in the quality of the product. Seller contacted me straightaway to check that I knew about the BB date and I confirmed that I knew that and was quite happy for him to despatch.
