About this deal

Sometimes a woman is just worn out and needs a break, you know?” The lines on her forehead deepen. “That doesn’t prove that you’re weak or neglectful, it proves to all the women standing by and watching you pave the road to success that it’s okay to say no. It’s okay to shut your door every now and then and put up a sign that says Busy taking care of me today. Piss off.”↞ The banter, the tension just everything in this book was fantastic and I cannot wait to read more from Sarah. . . A new favourite romance read that will have you grinning from start to end.'⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Sarah Adams’ books are woven with pure sunshine and rainbows . . . It’s everything you could want in a small-town romance, along with a heaping dollop of her signature wit and sparkling charm’ AMY LEA Sometimes a woman is just worn out and needs a break, you know?” The lines on her forehead deepen. “That doesn’t prove that you’re weak or neglectful, it proves to all the women standing by and watching you pave the road to success that it’s okay to say no. It’s okay to shut your door every now and then and put up a sign that says Busy taking care of me today. Piss off.”

This is my first book by Sarah Adams, but going in I had very high expectations given the hype surrounding “The Cheat Sheet.” Ultimately, I feel like that did this book a bit of a disservice, especially since this book is a bit different than her previous ones. Overall I liked it, and will read other books by her, namely the aforementioned Cheat Sheet, however, it didn’t blow me away like I was so hoping it would. to me, you’re amelia. maker of shitty pancakes and a smile that rivals the sun. all i want is you.” You can always count on a Sarah Adams rom-com to be equal parts funny, sweet, and swoony’ SOPHIE SULLIVANwHY this was surprisingly TOUCHING and unexpectedly mOrTiFYiNg because i felt ~E X P O S E D~ lol!! i have never felt so seen/connected to a book character before. 🙈 i feel like im Annie (h) or shes me. from her personality, her dynamic with her sisters, and her inexperienced love life, i could relate. the only thing missing is my very own bad boy, tattooed dating coach/training wheel Will Griffin (H)... whom if i dont get soon, then (instead of Practice Makes Perfect romcom) my love story would be a parody of Arranged Marriage judging from all the guys my moms been trying to set me up with lmao. 🤣💀 This is supposedly based on the (wonderful) Audrey Hepburn movie “Roman Holiday,” and as someone who has watched that movie approximately 802 times, I’m confident in saying that’s an affront.

Florist Annie Walker is determined to find someone who complements her life. But after overhearing her latest date describe her as 'so unbelievably boring', Annie wonders if the problem might be her. Is it too late to become flirtatious and fun like the leading ladies in her favourite romance movies? Maybe she only needs some practice . . . and Annie has the perfect tutor in mind. I giggled, sighed, laughed out loud, and even shed some tears. This book awakened so many emotions in me at the same time. the dedication alone is everything: ”this one is for the softies. the tenderhearted sweeties. the introverts who are afraid to shine.” already sobbing 🥹🥹Amelia can't resist falling for the cozy town and her grumpy tour guide, but even Audrey had to leave Rome eventually.

Annie, is a flower shop owner and I found her to be so charming, relatable and humorous. But there's one thing she is not good at- dating. In comes, Will who is Amelia's bodyguard with tattoos 👀 . Will is sexy, confident and clearly has trust issues. But if there's someone he adores- it's Annie. Upon agreeing to help her practice her dating abilities, the two never realised that there could be something more. From the moment I first read Will and Annie talk, their chemistry was sizzling and came across as genuine. Their conversations are so fun. The two, especially Annie are hilarious. But as I reached the 60% mark, I thought the two denying their feelings for each other despite having open communication was dragging unnecessarily, which is why I rate it 4 stars instead of four. I loved Jane Igharo’s first two books so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on her latest one, Where We End & Begin and was especially excited to see it was a second chance romance since that’s one of my favorite tropes. i think i would have liked this book a lot more if it was not for the insta-love... the majority of their relationship occurs within like the first weekend she's there. 🧍🏽‍♀️ it was just kinda boring, and i did not feel anything at all...i think the only parts i loved were when she was making fun of him and noah's sisters 🫶🏼 You can always count on a Sarah Adams rom-comto be equal parts funny, sweet, and swoony. When in Rome is all that and more with characters who will make you wish they were your friends, a quirky town you’ll want to visit, anda romance you’ll want to read again and again.” —Sophie Sullivan, author of Ten Rules for Faking ItWill doesn't believe in love after suffering from years-long dysfunctional relationships of his own parents. And Annie is a full commitment girl who wants to survive through a date without making her significant other bored to death. But she realizes she is more than a boring, inexperienced wallflower. Will helps her explore her restrained true identity and her adventurous side. But what if Annie doesn't want to date any man instead of her brooding coach, who is a cinnamon bun hiding behind a rough facade? And what if Will breaks his strict rules and opens his heart to true love?
