This product certainly worked at restoring my plastic panels, but, on larger areas it was difficult to avoid a streaky, uneven appearance. The application went as described and i used about 3 towelettes to do 90% of my F-150 super crew XL. Make sure you have covered all the plastic, even the hard-to-reach edges, because one coat is all you really need.

This is probably the best way to get a bumper and the Trim to look Factory New but it can easily go sideways and leave streaks in the trim that are almost impossible to get out.
The interior plastics are also pretty dried out and brittle and I’ve had some cracking and wondering what I can do to remedy this as well. I wish it were available in bulk but it appears to be very sensitive to drying out so I understand the decision to limit it to small, airtight packets. Make sure the surface is 100% clean of Dirt, Oils or any other products and make sure the surface is completely dry!
If you want the coating to bond with the surface and fully and properly cure, you'll have to ensure the surface is prepared and the application is made under the right conditions. After the surface has been thoroughly cleaned, we also recommend you clean any excess water that might be trapped in or around the panels you will be working on. Once all the plastic has been coated with CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat, you do not need to buff it off, but instead, just leave it alone as it is for the next hour so it can cure and bond to the plastic. Just before application, use an automotive degreaser on the plastics and trim to pick up any remaining grease and grime trapped with in the pores, buff off and you’re ready to go. IT'S SCIENCE - The trim Coat is a CERAMIC based product that brings out the pigments and bonds to your plastic.The plastic is supposed to remain in the condition it currently is for the next 200 washes or up to 2 years on average. Don't be fooled into purchasing "top secret" ingredient and additive products that make false claims. If you touch the car's paint by accident or another type of material, then just wipe it off with a clean microfiber towel before you continue working. I first wiped the wipe over the surface, making sure it went into all of the crevices of the door handle, and then some areas needed a slight buff to get the product in.
