It's shortcomings are that it could use more gain on the mic preamp, and more power to the audio output so it would work better with less efficient headphones. It also has a mic through (output) so the bass drum/overhead can then be sent to the main mixer and out through the PA. It has jack and XLR input and also one XLR output which is perfect for stages as you can use it as monitor and continue the line into the next one without any problem. Having those XLR pass-through connections is quite awesome allowing me to hear my bass as much as I need without affecting what I'm sending to my DAW from my audio interface.
