I only have it 4 stars as I went to drill some hard material today with an 8mm masonry bit and there wasn't much of a hammer action and I could have still done with my STS monster drill instead. Dewalt service centre actually said its sold as a core drill but breaks when used for core drilling. Yes, it is a bit heavier than standard corded drills, but the chuck is a bit bigger as well, which to me is an advantage.
