Founded in 1974, Cupar & District Model Railway Club has members from a varied background and ages, but with a common interest in Railways and model making. We have a member who is actively involved in the restoration of a full size steam locomotive 46464, other members are also involved in model boats, aircraft and various other hobbies and interests.
If you would like to know more about our club email or come along to our club and have a chat with us on Monday and Thursday nights 6.30pm - 9.30pm. Membership is open to anyone over 14, with an interest in railways. Due to child protection legislation junior members must always be under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Children less than 14 years of age may, at the clubs discretion, accompany a parent or guardian who is a member of the club. Junior Membership for ages 14-18. Full membership 18 and above.
The club is situated in the middle of Cupar in the Kingdom of Fife. The club has a large room in the old Castlehill School which is now part of the Castlehill Association - an association of clubs and groups that occupy and use rooms within the old school. The map shows the centre of Cupar and the clubrooms are accessed from the back of the building and up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate those that are not able to climb the stairs. To find Club Rooms - Our club room is located in the "Old Theatre" block of the old Castlehill Primary School adjacent to Fife Councils Social Work Offices. The building is directly in front of you as you go through the gates. Access to the building is via a door at the rear. We are located on the first floor. Directions to the Corn Exchange for our exhibition is again right in the middle of Cupar, at the T junction and at the bottom of Castlehill is Boots and to the right is the Corn Exchange Cupar and District Model Railway Club, The Old Theatre Block, Castlehill Centre, Cupar, KY15 4HA. (Next to the Fife Council Social work offices)
