Profile

Kelty Church's main service of worship is open to all people of all ages and backgrounds and is a place where visitors get a genuinely warm, friendly welcome. Around 150 people attend our informal weekly service and there is a good mix of younger and older men and women who gather. Our JAM Club and creche for the children are both well attended.Services are very relaxed with lots of fun and laughter. No one is expected to wear their Sunday best, though if anyone wishes to they are, of course, welcome to. Our externally traditional (1896) church building has a very contemporary feel on the inside. Having been refurbished twice in the past two decades we now have the following features that make is very welcoming and modern in feel: Automatic Electric Door Comfortable Upholstered Chairs (no old, hard, wooden pews) Modern Sound System (with loop system) Large computerised multimedia screen Baby Changing Facilities Childrens Play Area After Service refreshments We have an church office which operates between the hours of 10-12noon Monday to Friday. Any other information required can be gained by making contact with Helen in the office (Tel 831219 / email office@keltykirk.org.uk)
