Largo Bay Art Society
Largo Bay Art Society was founded in November 1993 by local artist John Mitchell and has continued to provide a forum where people interested in art can meet. We aim to create opportunities to inspire people to further their interest, knowledge and appreciation of art by providing a varied programe of demonstrations, workshops and practice from September through till May and when weather permits outdoor painting and/or sketching. Our annual exhibition takes place in July. Annual membership is £20 and Saturday tutored workshops are £10 for the day We are a friendly group and welcome new members
Largo Bay Art Society starts their new season with an Open Night on Wednesday 17th September at 7.30pm in the Montrave Hall, Lundin Links.
Members bring a good selection of work they did over the summer and catch up on news.
If you would like to return to, or take up painting as a hobby do come along on a Wednesday evening and see what we do.
Our exhibition went well and the standard of work was excellent. The winner of best picture voted for by the public was Ian Malcolm's 'Portrait in Dots'.
