Compatible with both concealed and exposed installations, this high performance shower valve will allow you to control the temperature and flow of your shower with ultimate precision and effortless ease. Factory set to a maximum of 43 degrees to eliminate the ability to select an unsafe temperature - this can be adjusted to suit user preference. This Shower Mixer Valve can also be used for either rigid riser kits or adjustable riser kits due to the shower valve being top outlet or bottom outlet. Elbows can be adjusted for exposed pipework running up and down the wall at the wide range of centres mentioned above.

It's nicely made with a good quality finish. The adjustable elbows made it easy to connect to my existing feed pipes, but they screwed in and out of the body rather than fixing with a nut as shown in the picture. The elbows have a fine thread on them to provide the adjustability and two "O" rings to seal them in the body; when I saw the "O" rings I wasn't sure they would be effective so used some sealant on them but one still leaked, so I had to take the valve off again to put some new sealant on that elbow. Subsequently the other elbow also leaked, so the valve had to come off again to seal that one. This has been a real nuisance. All of our Bristan products are covered by a guarantee, many of which include both parts and labour — so we'll send an engineer to fix the problem.
