The purposes of Kirkcaldy Community Gardens and Allotments CIC:

1. To campaign for and secure increased provision of allotments in the Kirkcaldy area.

2. To identify suitable sites for allotments in the Kirkcaldy area.

3. To issue proposals and guidance to Fife Council underlining the benefits of allotments to the community at large.

4. To manage or manage jointly with other organisations an allotment site.

5. To offer support to any project which will assist in the achievement of these objectives.

6. To restore Ravenscraig Walled Garden to a twenty first century centre for community growing, learning and enjoyment by providing growing spaces for allotments, a sensory garden, a willow garden, a community orchard, a community garden and any other ancillary activities, whilst retaining the more historic elements of the walled garden and thereafter to maintain it. This is for the benefit of the community of Ravenscraig Walled Garden, users of Ravenscraig Park as well as the wider communities of Dysart and Kirkcaldy.
