The Cystitis and Overactive Bladder Foundation gives support to people with all forms of cystitis and overactive bladder. Its goals are:

  • The relief of sickness of persons suffering from all forms of cystitis and overactive bladder
  • The advancement of education amongst the general public and the medical profession into the causes and treatment of all forms of cystitis and overactive bladder
  • The promotion and research into the causes and treatment of all forms of cystitis and overactive bladder on terms that the results of such are published

The COB Foundation was formerly known as the Interstitial Cystitis Support Group (ICSG). The ICSG was set up in 1994 by two sisters suffering from Interstitial Cystitis, to help their fellow sufferers. In 2003 it became the COB Foundation. Membership of the COB Foundation is open to anyone who suffers from cystitis or overactive bladder, or is interested in furthering the work of the charity. The annual subscription fee is £20 (waged) and £10.00 (unwaged).

The COB Foundation does not engage in the practice of medicine. It is not a medical authority nor does it claim to have medical knowledge. In all cases we recommend that you consult your own doctor regarding any course of treatment or medication.
