If your device is unresponsive or if you wish to reset the watch to the way it was upon unboxing, press and hold the home button for 8 seconds to reset the watch. While your device can withstand splashes from washing your hands or dancing in the rain, it is not recommended to submerge the device in water. To prevent water damage: Press the icon on the left-hand corner to select fun voice effects, like extra fast, slow-mo, robot, chipmunk or no effect.
REMEMBER: Your Tobi™2 smartwatch can connect to other Tobi™2 smartwatches using wireless connectivity. To connect, open the Menu Mode and select the wireless connectivity icon in SETTINGS (making sure it is toggled to the ON [Blue] position). Now, you can send messages with other nearby Tobi™2 smartwatches. The second iteration of the Verizon GizmoWatch has a lot going for it: a fun design kids will be proud to wear, lots of exciting games to play with, and best of all, parent options and controls that really make this watch stand out above the rest. Always keep the port cover closed during use to prevent water or debris from entering the device. Only open the port cover to connect the device to your computer. To turn on the device, press and hold the home button for about 5 seconds until the screen turns on and a sound plays.There are two onboard cameras, both capable of shooting 640- by 480-pixels photos or 320- by 240-pixels video. Connectivity: Do you want your child to keep in touch with you while they are out playing or on the way home from school? A smartwatch that uses a SIM card will let them send messages and make phone calls to you. In addition, most watches designed for children will include safety features to ensure you know who they are communicating with. Remember if the smartwatch needs a SIM card, you'll likely have to pay a monthly fee for this too. If you do not plan to use the device for an extended period, it is recommended that you turn the device off. Regularly charge the battery when not in use to ensure the battery accepts a charge. The companion app for the XPlora is fantastic, especially with regards to the geo fencing safety feature. You can easily set “safe zones” that will trigger a text message to the parent when the child gets outside the boundaries. My only complaint about this feature is that the smallest radius available is 300 feet, which, if one lives in a large metropolitan area like we do, can mean your child could be crossing busy streets without your supervision. That being said, I did appreciate that I got a text message from the watch the second my daughter left her safe zone (don’t worry, she was in the car with me). ENCOURAGES ACTIVE PLAY.
