The Community Council members in St Monans discuss and review many topics which may interest or affect the residents of the village. We arrange and run the annual Burns Supper; the Senior Citizens' Tea Party and the annual Beach Clean. We also support various other events too, especially Beautiful Fife, Sea queen Day and the St Monans Arts Festival. The St Monans Sea Queen Day Committee plan Sea Queen Day itself and various fund raisers throughout the year.

St Monans Sea Queen Day is the oldest remaining Gala Day in the East Neuk of Fife - with something for all the family
