Some people have false beliefs that they will not be successful in their lives, or they are unworthy of everything in their life. For some like me the contents of the book may not be entirely new but there being so much to remember, this book is a quick revision. Preeti Shenoy is one of my all time favourite authors and when it comes to my favourites, I'm a little biased 😁. Her daily videos, her motivating thoughts, her books, her handwriting, her potrait drawings, just everything !

The author skillfully explains complex issues in a simple yet interesting way by including activities at the end of each chapter along with the tips and suggestions on various topics viz. At our next Gathering, on December 27th, we’ll do the “Opening of the Ways” with different ritualists at each Quarter. And when we meet with others, we hear them say, “Listen to what I say…” (because when others talk, they’re connecting to us. By repeating these affirmations daily, they can plant seeds of hope, confidence, and belief in their heart.

What I have understood is Preeti Shenoy is a firm believer of the law of attraction and the book 'Secret' as she takes a lot of references from it. In this book, Preeti Shenoy gives you a set of principles for every area of life, designed to help us shift our perspective from hopelessness to hope, from despondency to joy, from cynicism to belief – a belief that change is coming, and things are not as bad as they seem.

I made a few changes; we connected over music, we shared our captivity on a Friday afternoon, we sparked off each other, we acknowledged we were all subjected to a curriculum we all found questionable and concluded we’d be better off working together to make the most of the situation, I let go, trusted them and remembered how important and connecting laughter was.

Seven in 10 of those surveyed said that pre-parenthood, they set themselves personal milestones to motivate them to achieve more in life. In this case, it is hard to change your mind from negative to positive, as you have trained your mind to think in that way for a long time. And all of the things, especially the practices and things suggested were practical in modern day-to-day fast life. Best part of the book for me was the last part pertaining to social media and the activity challenges.

When I’ve completed these ritual actions, along with the visualizations, I should be well on my way to achieving the magical mindset. He used this strategy with his clients to give them an opportunity to practice alternatives to their dysfunctional behaviors. Checking my own thoughts, words and actions I realized I spent more time tearing myself apart than anything else. Alot of real-time examples makes us connect with the problem and the corresponding solution author suggests. She has been featured on the likes of The Today Show, Netflix, The Wall Street Journal, Real Simple, Forbes, and numerous other media outlets.She depicted the most complicated way in such a heartwarming manner that I felt many people would simply enjoy reading this book and would be 100% sure to apply as well. And what is the world, if not a huge, natural classroom environment for all the diverse, different forms of life including all humans. The 14 day challenge is something that can be implemented easily and needs to be taken up by each one of us. Catching myself veering off into self-bashing, noticing my energy dive, realizing when I was being self-destructive….
