I do have my usual small criticism in children’s books that I prefer not to have words entirely in upper case letters in the middle of sentences, as I prefer to model expected use more conventionally. Their first title 'Dogs in Disguise' (published Sep 2021) is a hilarious, rhyming story about the secret lives of our four-legged friends. Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first.

It is probably a surprise that dogs wear disguises, but in fact, fashionable red setters are roaming our streets in their trendy outfits.Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do.

Now, I’m at least 55 years older than the intended audience for Dogs in Disguise and a cat lover but I adored this book.and even a wee joke, Bently as ever effortlessly alliterates himself through a tongue-twisting tangle of clothes. Well, they do and the brilliant author Peter Bently and illustrator John Bond have set out to prove it with Dogs in Disguise! Dressing up in clothing they find at home, these adventurous pooches blend into the crowd at all the places dogs aren? An extremely well-crafted and fun story time book that will have children asking for repeat reads again and again.
